Adolescent Gynecology

Sometimes, we find that the prospect of a first visit to the gynecologist is met with nervousness or anxiety. Our full team of women physicians understand this. After all, we each had our own first visit too. We strive to meet this initial uneasiness with warm and compassionate care. Every woman is different, so we immediately begin personalizing your care based on your individual needs. This can include anything from consultations to exams to discussions about a range of topics. We will provide helpful information about the developing body and promote healthy habits as well as a positive body image.

Annual Check Ups

Having a routine checkup at least once a year is highly recommended, even if you are not experiencing any problems or irregularities. At West End OBGYN our physicians can provide preventative testing and care, giving you the peace of mind that you're as healthy as can be! Annual check ups usually include blood pressure, breast, pelvic and pap exams depending what all is necessary. It is also a good time to contemplate STI testing and to discuss any menstrual issues or irregularities.
